TRANSP for Demonstration
The TRANSP part of the demonstration should do the following:
- TRANSP automatically starts at PPPL once required DIII-D data has been acquired.
- TRANSP run is pre-configured before pulse so that it can finishes on time.
- Elvis software is used to watch TRANSP run happen.
- ReviewPlus is used to compare TRANSP data with DIII-D experimental data.
To prepare Doug needs to:
- Can the TRANSP code be completed on time to make this demo possible?
- Work with DIII-D people on input data.
- Elvis needs to be configured and ready to read TRANSP data.
- What machine at SC03 will Elvis run on? Need to get with ANL to figure
out this logistics. This is very critical if Eliot does not attend SC03.
