During the Visualization teleconference on Friday people asked
for information on installing the IDL based visualization tool
ReviewPlus.
Before using any Fusion visualization software people need
to install MDSplus so data can be retrieved from an MDSplus
data server.
Tom Fredian is one of the lead MDSplus developers and maintains the
MDSplus web site <http:www.mdsplus.org>. MDSplus installation
questions are best addressed to Tom. RPM kits are available
for most platforms at <http://www.mdsplus.org/mdsplus/install_kits.html>.
An RPM for the IDL based ReviewPlus visualization tool is available
at <http://lithos.gat.com/comp/analysis/uwpc/docs/reviewplus.shtml>.
The manual on how to use ReviewPlus is also on this page. Note that
ReviewPlus comes with examples files that you can restore to
set the program up to plot data. ReviewPlus installation questions
should be address to Qian Peng (peng@fusion.gat.com - She is
a member of the GA team working on the Collaboratory). Details
on the usage of ReviewPlus can be addressed to me.
