Based on the successful collaborative control room demonstration at SC2003 and the successful remote leadership of the JET experiment in January 2004, a team of JAERI scientists located in Naka, Japan will lead the scientific program for a day at the DIII-D National Fusion Facility in San Diego. As presently envisioned, this experiment will take place in the March to April 2004 time frame using FusionGrid services.
